Must Knows

I am a good canidate for microblading if...

  • I am between the ages of 18-70.

  • I am not pregnant or nursing.

  • I have not been on Acutane, or have undergone Chemo/Radiation, or have received a tattoo removal service on my brows in the past 1 year.

  • I am not on bloodthinners or daily Asprin.

  • My skin is in good health.

  • I have not had Botox 6 weeks prior to my appointment.

  • I don’t have a vacation planned for at least 2 weeks after my appointment where I will be engaging in the sun/sand/swimming etc.

  • I have seen and like my artist’s Microblading portfolio.

  • I can give my FULL trust to my brow artist!

I understand that...

  • Results are not guaranteed and may vary depending on skin type, skin health, skin thickness, hair type, skin regimen, lifestyle choices, medications, smoking, aftercare protocol, frequent tanning or sun exposure or other outside factors.

  • My brows are “sisters not twins.” The goal is to achieve “perceived symmetry” on an asymmetrical canvas as no face has naturally existing perfect symmetry. We strive to create a beautiful, well-balanced, natural looking brow.

  • If my skin is particularly oily my Microblading may fade at a faster-than-typical rate.

  • If I have any previous Microblading or Brow Tattoo, my artist will do their best to balance and neutralize color and shape bit results with color, shape, and ink retention may vary.

  • If I have any previous Microblading or Brow Tattoo, I must first email a clear photo of my brows in good lighting with no brow makeup to lovena@browswithlove.net before booking. We would be so sad to have to turn you away if we decide your old work cannot be covered up with the work we can provide.

Before my appointment

  • Please refrain from consuming coffee or alcohol within 24 hours of your appointment.

  • Please do not vigorously exercise the morning of your appointment.

  • Please do not get your brows tinted, waxed, and laminated within 2 weeks of your appointment.

  • Please arrive at your appointment with your brow makeup done the way you would typically wear it on a day-to-day basis (if any).

After Care

  • Don’t get your brows wet for 24 hours.

  • Delicately apply a thin layer of Aquaphor morning and night with a clean Q-tip.

  • How much Aquaphor? No more than the size of a pea to spread onto each brow.

  • Allow water to rinse through your brows after 24 hours. Don’t scrub them or apply cleansers to them. Pat dry. Apply a new THIN layer of Aquaphor.

  • Do NOT touch, pick, or scratch.

  • Do not expose them to sun or UV rays for at least 14 days.

  • Do not excessively sweat for 14 days.

  • Do not go in any bodies of water for 14 days.

Healing Process
  • DAY 1: Brows may appear bold strokes may appear “sharp and stiff”, skin may be pink, irritated and sting

  • DAY 2-7: The darkest your brows will ever be. Follow the aftercare instructions, don’t touch them, and trust the process

  • DAY 3-10: Your brows will itch and flake. Don’t itch or peel them!

  • DAY 14-25: The lightest your brows will ever be. If it looks like spots are missing, this is normal.

  • DAY 26-35: Your color should begin to “reappear”, revealing a soft, natural brow.

  • 6-8 WEEK TOUCH UP: The “perfecting” appointment for any areas that could use a little extra love.

With love
